Grateful :)

It's been a while, I know! But better late than never!
I wanted to share beauty related things I got for my birthday, plus a few extras which I wanted to share, and to say one thing: thank you. Thank you to those who read me, those who wished me a happy birthday, those who spoiled and those who care about me. It really means something to me :)

Let's get on with the beauty products! Some were gifts, some were purchased by me.

So far, I'm happy with all of these products, except the mascara. It's kinda clumpy. I haven't tried the polish yet, I'll do a NOTD post when I do :)

Here's a special mention to my boyfriend, who offered me a beautiful gift: a super nice watch, which I didn't really need, but am in love with. 

And to my parents, who finally gave me what I wanted for such a long time! :D This is partially why I haven't blogged in a while... still clumsy with the keyboard and still got a few things to set up in order to feel "home".

And finally, a huge thanks to two of my best friends for offering me some great entertainment: Just Dance 3! Gosh, I love you girls, and the game! :)

Tell me, what was the best present you ever received, and for what occasion was it?

Resolution: Taking care of my nails!

Since forever, I've been complaining about my nails. They peel, break, they're weak and they never hold nail polish well. Recently, I did some research and I got some ideas of products I would like to try out.

So, here's my nail related wishlist!

Sephora Nail Polish Corrector Pen - I don't know if this would actually work. It's 6,00$ and the concept seems really interesting, especially for someone like me who has absolutely no skills in painting her nails. Most the nail polish end up around my nails!

Yves Rocher Nail Strengthener - An anti-breakage treatment to strengthen soft and weak nails. Recommended to me by Josianne, she said this worked pretty well, but it's 12$ in store. Online, it's way cheaper, so I must try it!

Yves Rocher Nail Strengthening Base Coat - This is also 12$ and was also recommended by Josianne. I think it's good to give it a shot, what have I got to lose? I'd just have to buy it online...

... And now, some nail polishes I wish to get my hands on! Not necessarily these brands.. just these colors!

OPI Catch me in your net - Loooooove this aqua color! Puts me so much in a Summer mood. 

OPI Bubble Bath - A super gorgeous natural shade! A must for any season!

OPI Black Shatter - This creates a super cool effect over ANY nail polish color.. except black. It's gives a cracked look and shows the color underneath. A pretty edgy look, but totally fun!

Revlon Minted - A very nice pastel turquoise, nice year long! Especially with Black Shatter on top, it would look amaaaazing.

OPI Rumple's Wiggin' - A very nice pastel lavender color. I think this would also nicely suit my skin tone, since I'm really pale!

Wardrobe Wishlist (Summer '11)

Hello ladies!
So, as it's finally getting hotter in Quebec, I'm starting to think about a Summer wardrobe. I'll be working this Summer, so I might be able to update my closet a bit more than I thought. Here are some pieces that I would really love to have... Just remember, it's doesn't have to be exactly like this, but similar.

This top is so nice because it can be dressed up or down. It'd look great with light  short or with dark jeans, which can create two very different styles.

This shoe is super gorgeous! It'd look great for a night out and I think it's a great alternative to the typical black heel we all reach for.

This is a top, btw. I really like the pattern and it's just so light and sweet.

You can't go wrong with a nude bag! Plus, it's pretty big.. and simple, like I like them.

And you can't go wrong with a nude dress! With some bold heels and accessories, this would look awesome.

Awww! So cuuuute. 'Nuf said.

I am in love with this color right now! WANT!

Paired with the right top, the right accessories, and the right colors, this skirt will spice up any outfit! Love this look actually...

Drugstore Wishlist (March '11)

So, I've been kinda broke for a while now, and haven't really been able to buy lots of new makeup. Don't get me wrong, I do have enough makeup to survive, but I do want to try some new things. By the way, my empty bank account is the reason behind my really similar monthly favorites videos. I've been using the same products for months! So, here's some things I wish to test out ASAP!

Physician's Formula - Happy Booster Blush!
Not only is this GORGEOUS, but it's supposed to boost your mood. I don't know if that's true, but the packaging is too cute to not be happy while applying it! This shade is Rose, but they also have Natural. 

Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss!
I've heard these stay on really well and aren't too sticky. Plus, it's a pretty big size of tube! Want it! This shade is Peach Petal, and it looks awesome!

Garnier - Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller
I have pretty good skin and my only problem is dark circles. I'd really love to try this out and see what it does to them! It's also a bit pigmented, so it's supposed to cover them.

Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets
While I thought I had mostly dry skin, I realized I was actually more of a combination skin type. My T-zone can get a bit shiny throughout the day, especially since I've been using a rich cream to help the flakiness on the rest of my face. This is going to be a must! Especially as it gets hotter.

Maybelline - Volum' Express One by One Mascara
I reeeeally want to try this one. I've been loving The Falsies but I wonder how this works. The brush looks awesome!

Covergirl - Look Clean Pressed Powder
For my oily tendency... And for setting foundation!

L'Oréal Paris - Elnett Satin Hairspray
I've been wanting to style my hair more lately, which is something I don't usually do. I just leave my hair down naturally. So many "gurus" speak so highly of this that I must give it a try. However, I really wanna try the small bottle first, which I haven't found yet.

L'Oréal Paris -True Match Concealer
I've recently purchased the True Match Foundation & I'm in love. So I gotta try out their concealer, especially since I'm running low on my favorite one!

Anyways, I think that's about it for now. I'll do more wishlists if anything else comes in mind!

• My cat likes baby spinach leaves! She ate like 3 today...Hope it's not dangerous!
• I bit my tongue yesterday SO hard that I could barely eat today. It's all red! 
• I'm obsessed with HauteLook even though I can't even buy anything off it! I don't have a credit card...
• My spring break ends today...Tomorrow, I have 2 gym classes. :(
• I keep thinking I should get a motivational tattoo. But I know I won't.
• My boyfriend & I, it's been complicated. Things are becoming better I guess..
• I miss my friends. I wish we'd go out.
